Animal Transport Inspection: Training in Spain

We trained local authorities in Reus, Catalonia (Spain). Local police and veterinarians were further educated by our veterinarians Tea and Maria on inspecting animal transports. The collaboration with the authorities is a great benefit for all parties: only through this can officials and veterinarians pay attention to the crucial details in animal transport inspections and ensure the protection of animals. This work is important for us to enforce animal welfare laws on the ground and establish key contacts with the authorities.

The first day was dedicated to the meticulous inspection of animal transport vehicles, while the second day focused intensively on documentation and the planning of transport inspections. The participants' satisfaction speaks volumes, and further training sessions are already in planning. With your support, we can remain active in this critical area.
